The Absolute Best Granola (vegan)
So my sister has always loved granola in any form. Granola in a bowl, as a bar, on ice cream, in pancakes, in cookies...you get the point. I never understood her devotion to granola until I tasted the version served and sold in bags at the bakery counters of the Le Pain Quotidien restaurants sprinkled throughout New York City. Full of nuts, coconut, raisins, and maple syrup, it really is amazing stuff, and I have never come close to duplicating it until now.
Behold the absolute best homemade granola. How do I know it's good? Because my sister says so. In fact, she tells me it's "last meal" good. As in: if you had to pick your last meal, what would it be? Sounds a little extreme to me, but I told you, the lady loves granola.

Hello All!! I am the Sister. After years of dedicated research I can honestly say this is the most amazing granola. Although I really enjoyed the creative process the final product is well worth the buzz. The coconut and molasses make this truly delectable. But you don't have to take my word for it. The recipe is included. Try it in your own kitchen and tell us what you think.. (and, of course, I want to know what you mix it with;))!
